METALLICA SPRING 2004 TOUR CITIES

Blabbermouth link...enjoy the endless St. Anger bashing

Metallica is confirmed to play KeyArena in Seattle March 28. But that's the only date that has been announced at this time.

Here are the cities that Metallica will be touring in, i.e the cities that matter to David, Nick, Steve, Grant, and I:

San Diego, CA (closest to Grant)
Los Angeles, CA
Anaheim, CA
Portland, OR
Spokane, WA
Seattle, WA (closest to David and Nick)
Vancouver, BC
Minneapolis, MN (closest to Steve)
Little Rock, AR (closest to me)
Memphis, TN

I've seen Metallica in concert once, at the EMP Grand Opening show back in June 2000. They only played 50 minutes at that show, so I'd like to see them play a full show if I'm able to get tickets. Metallica has not played Little Rock's Alltel Arena yet. They have played Barton Coliseum a couple of times, but never Alltel, which opened in 1999.

Yes, "St. Anger" was less than what I expected out of them. But I'd love to see Metallica live with Rob Trujillo, who is one of the best bass players out there. We'll find out the rest of the dates in early 2004.

ROLLING STONE'S 500 GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL-TIME

http://www.rollingstone.com/features/coverstory/featuregen.asp?pid=2164

The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" was No. 1.

Here are the albums that are on the list that I own myself. Enjoy.

17. Nevermind, Nirvana
26. The Joshua Tree, U2
73. Back in Black, AC/DC
139. All That You Can't Leave Behind, U2
167. Master of Puppets, Metallica
193. Dookie, Green Day
207. Ten, Pearl Jam
221. War, U2
252. Metallica, Metallica
297. Weezer (Blue Album), Weezer
310. BloodSugarSexMagik, Red Hot Chili Peppers
336. Superunknown, Soundgarden
368. Rage Against the Machine, Rage Against the Machine
399. Californication, Red Hot Chili Peppers
415. Van Halen , Van Halen
426. The Battle of Los Angeles, Rage Against the Machine
492. Vitalogy, Pearl Jam

I'm proud to say that I don't own No Doubt's "Rock Steady" or "Tragic Kingdom", as well as Liz Phair's "Exile In Guyville". All three of these crap albums are on Rolling Stone's list.

The best album NOT on this list? Here's 5 of my best albums not on this list:

Alice In Chains, Dirt
Queensryche, Operation Mindcrime
Rush, Moving Pictures
Outkast, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below
Ozzy Osbourne, No More Tears

Lists are so much fun, aren't they?
